My Sunshine...

Ruby and I started this new nightly tradition. Right after we brush and floss her tiny little teeth we stare in the bathroom mirror and smile at ourselves. As we admire her clean teeth suddenly I am reminded by Ruby, "Sunshine Mom!" So I lift her off the bathroom counter and squeeze her tight. Together we sway in the mirror while we sing "You Are My Sunshine." Every night we sing it at least five times and every night I have to remind myself that Ruby is not going to be this little for very much longer. She is definitely my little sunshine and she lights up my world!
